The Cahtolic church lets homosexuals adopt what it does not do is provide recognition to the relationship which the governmetn wants to force the mto do. Why should private bodies wiht sincere objections to homosexual sex-which has been opposed by Christendom for two millenium as I'm sure you know be forced to recongise such relationships? but the point is not about gay men or women per se-it’s about the relatinship.
