		<description>That's true, but we also need an expansion of the railway system. It's the same principal as the buses - you have to demonstrate high capacity to encourage people to use it. People commuting into London, which I believe is the highest passenger per mile density in the UK, are really beginning to feel the strain of overcrowding. Part of that is upgrading tracks, stations and other infrastructure to allow for more frequent, longer and faster trains, but laying down new lines - which is expensive - is needed.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;xD.</description>

		<description>I agree we need to encourage more use  of the rail system. I think this can be done by getting rid of the fragmentation of the network caused by privatisation.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;I think nationalisation would be a possible solution. It would also make it easier for an environmentally-conscious government to subsidise train fares from taxes in order to make it more attractive to take the train than travel by car/plane.</description>
