Hats
People who know me in real life will know that I (almost) always wear a hat. I’ve taken pictures of my hats and there is now a rotator that shows pictures of some of my hats in, well, rotation. Feel free to nick the script.
The pictures were edited in an open source graphics programme called the GNU Image Manipulation Programme or GIMP. It is free, as in cost and as in freedom. It is not as advanced as Adobe PhotoShop, but it’s pretty damn good and you can pick it up quickly. I learnt it from Grokking the Gimp. My high-tech photo studio was the back of some wrapping paper leaning against the wall and some drinking glasses to hold the hats up. Thanks to Alice for helping lots.xD.

Hi Dave, I always liked your hats. It’s important to develop a personalized look and you certainly have.
Congrats on using the GIMP. I’ve used it a lot for the past year or so and I haven’t really missed Photoshop at all. But I guess you might have fancier, photographic, needs.
I like the new look of your site, btw. Clear and well-presented ?like your views).
