Dave at the Wardman Wire
I’m running a symposium on devolution in the UK over at the Wardman Wire. Do go over and take a look; the first post, by yours truly, is ‘It’s a long way to Westminster‘ and the second, from Garbo, is ‘The Great English Parliament Debate‘.
If you’d like to contribute, drop me an email!
And, as today is Yom Kippur, g’mar chatimah tovah.

What does “g’mar chatimah tovah” mean?
All I’ve ever heard said on Yom Kippur was “good yom tov” which roughly means, good “special day”.
But then, you know…. in reform shuls… anything goes…

Apparently, it means ‘may you be inscribed in the book of Life for good’.
