I don't have a huge amount of experience working with government, but what I do does lead me to conclude that running a country of some sixty million is complicated. Even so, it's the right and perhaps the duty of commentators to criticise irregardless of this - if the "greats" could deal with extraordinarily personal criticising pamphlets and leaflets back in the day, then current ministers should be able to deal with the scrutiny of modern journalists.
