Charles Clarke is still wrong

Charles Clarke has said the PM should go. Clarke has form for this (as mentioned here and here on this blog). Charles Clarke has not thought Gordon Brown should be Prime Minister for some time now. I’d say he’s had that opinion since Blair’s ministry.

Indeed, I should think there are no circumstances in which Charles Clarke would support Gordon Brown. Charles Clarke is trying to reopen a wound – again – that has just healed over, just when we most need a sense of unity. We’ve had this debate. Clarke et al. lost. Brown is going to be the Prime Minister into the next election. By continually pushing this point, Clarke is becoming more of a single-personality politician and all he is doing is damaging the party.

A period of silence on his part would be welcome.

xD.

    James,

Thankyou for the shout out and, in answer to your question, Gordon Brown will definitely be Prime Minister after the next election. It says here.
