Marriage can often be a very difficult time for most women. Having to adjust to life together and fulfill one’s obligation can all be very challenging. Tip #1 – Be Content with what you have

More often than not we always like comparing our marriage to someone else’s. When we notice that they seem happier, have a bigger house and drive the latest car, the idea (that the grass is greener on the other side) starts setting in. This mindset can cause lots of problems within the marriage and the strain and lead to disaster. Always appreciate what you have and guard the marriage you have been blessed with.

Tip #2 – Forgiveness

Going to bed with a clean conscious is very important when you’re married. Forgiveness and understanding when your husband makes a mess of things or a mistake are important. Where all human after all and putting aside negative thoughts is the best way to move forward.

Tip #3 – Communication

Communicating how you feel to your husband is essential. Men find it hard to understand how our minds work and sometimes don’t know when they’ve been insensitive. The best way to avoid all this annoyance is by telling your spouse exactly how you feel.

Tip #4 – Respect your (Husband)

It shouldn’t respect only if he’s earned it but respect nonetheless from the person you choose to spend the rest of your life with. It has been drilled into our heads that respect needs to first be earned, however, your husband is human and will make mistakes. That doesn’t mean to say that if he makes a bad decision, you as a wife has to accept it but communicating your objection with respect is important.

Tip #5 – Don’t bring up Divorce

Unless you really want to get a divorce, never use it as a threatening gesture. It’s not fair and can lead to a lot of unwanted problems. If you’re hurting it’s best to tell your husband why instead of threatening him.

Tip #6 – Always have a Date Night

To keeps that romance alight try and schedule a ‘’Date Night’’ every month. Even if you can’t afford to have dinner out maybe you can improvise and spend some quality time with each other. Just talk about a dream vacation or what you did instead of the kids, bills and work problems.

Tip #7 – Don’t Nag

Women often nag about things and this can get annoying when it starts becoming a constant banter. If you want your spouse to do something communicate it nicely and tell him why it has to be done when it does.
